Gotta say, I'm stoked. Got it pre-ordered on Game and I'll pick it up on release.
Looks like a bad action Deus Ex to me, the guy holding his pistol sideways just made me laugh.
"I can use you anyway i want to" Seriously...
I'm interested, although I'll wait for reviews and more gameplay videos before I make a final decision. Sucks for Starbreeze though to be releasing a game in a similar vein as Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
I like this one better tbh.
The previous trailer looked a bit better, now I'm not sure what to think. It really looks too action-oriented with some -_deep_- story.
Looks like Deus Ex traded in it's brain for some balls. [editline]15th February 2012[/editline] and a substantial amount of dubstep.
i thought the demo was pretty cool. but you can basically unlock half the shit in the full game in the demo. it is kinda like crackdown2 demo where the whole game is in it if you play it long enough.
I get a strong mix of Deus Ex (HR) and Crysis 2 from this.
Not sure what to think. It's definitely good looking, but there's an eyebrow-raising amount of scripted sequences and on-rails helicopter shooting going on.
More orange and teal! MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE!
I think that the fact that it's made by the developers that made The Darkness, The Chronicles of Riddick games and Enclave is just enforcing my trust in this game.
Looks more fun than Deus Ex HR tbh
When did we decide that running and dropping on your back will make you slide on the floor and is a viable tactic?

Looks... well, looks pretty great to be honest. I don't have any experience with the Syndicate series, but when I heard they were rebooting a strategy game into an FPS, I pretty much dismissed it on the spot. This actually appears to be a fairly interesting shooter. I'm digging the appearance and motif. Too bad it's not on Steam, though. I'm not about to start using Origin.
They seriously better not pull a Haze with the story. The whole point was you're an overpowered super agent made to protect company secrets regardless of much genocide is needed.
Haze
Speak not it's name.
"I never wanted this" "You can't fight the future" Even the quotes look like they're taken from Deus Ex :v: The thing I dislike about this game, judging from the trailers, is that there's so much noise onscreen all the time. Lots of blingy content just confuses the player.
Rosario Dawson looks like Alyx Vance, but with bigger eyes. and the option to make enemies kill themselves or have their weapons explode in their face sounds neat, but otherwise, these are useless since shooting them is much quicker.
Actually no. :v: The use of the powers is about just as effective as shooting, they give you a great advantage againgst groups though so you can make one guys gun backfire, hurting his buds and then you can shoot them all down MUCH easier (they'll be stunned, etc.). The suicide thing can also be upgraded so they shoot all their friendlies in the proximity before killing themselves off.

Hacking was a bitch at first, but once I got a few levels I got good at it. It's really satisfying to control someone and make them shoot their allies, honestly. I really hope they make use of augs and stuff in Syndicate. But it's doubtful, so hopefully the hacking is at least fun. E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy has a good cyberpunk setting, but it was too short. So I'm pumped for this, because it looks like it has great atmosphere.
I'm not too sure on gameplay, but... The concept behind augmentations isn't exactly something new. Just because Deus Ex did it doesn't mean they were the first.
Well, that made a mockery of the original game. [editline]16th February 2012[/editline] Whats next? Cannon fodder FPS HD EXTREME?
Another game that could be amazing but wont be.
Not saying that this looks bad but it really looks too much like Deus Ex: HR.
70% of the trailer seems scripted.
The ending gave me the "you're going to end up fighting against you're original employer GOOD ENDING YAY" vibe that I'm getting bloody tired of. Let us be the god damn bad guys for once, and not just for the tutorial.
Banned in Australia :c

It's completely grey.
