If you haven't seen this guy yet he can be pretty entertaining to watch.
The idea of people not being able to see has always made me curious.

Sometimes I wish I was deaf.
In hindsight I would prefer being blind over deaf, I am a huge music guy so being deaf would suck.

And not hear music or sounds of nature again?
i like how he said he can't judge people by their race but instead by what they say and do.
it's strange how someone that is blind can see things more clearly than some people that aren't

I think it is a lot like knowing someone over the internet, like over skype. You only ever hear their voice in most cases so we leave it to our imagination to paint the picture in our head. Blind people of course can't really even picture a human figure in their head because that really haven't seen one but I imagine it is replaced with something of comparison.

An explanation of why would be nice.
In Slovenian we have a verse that always stuck to me, yet I never really found the source. It goes something like this:
I met a man, he was blind,
he told me "Son, the world is beautiful"
I was a bit confused because he's blind
"Son, you will see when you're blind"
I'm not blind, but I saw
that the world truly is beautiful
Sometimes I wish I was deaf.
Yeah, who wants to listen to music or people
I would rather be deaf than blind but I would also rather not be either.
Another interesting video.

Actually, I have experienced this as well. It seems like a REALLY misguided thing to say to people who haven't had this, but it's like a serious drive for absolute silence. The permanence obviously makes this an unfair trade.
This guy is hilarious
