This is old, I'm sure some people here on Facepunch have seen it, but with all the North Korea threads popping up lately, I felt like I should post it here, It's a very interesting, They seem to get threatened through out the entire thing about getting arrested. Each video is normally around 3-6 minutes long.

I love The Vice Guide, recently just watched their one on Liberia and I never knew how bad it was there.
no finger point
Ok... Just watched it. And...
Part 13 was just amazing.
I hope Justin Bieber doesn't start WW3 when he goes there.

That guide was crazy, They where fucking eating children. :geno:
This seriously will fuck up your brain.
I'm on part 5... I felt sorry for that girl at the tea shop :/
...
Finished part 7... now the site is unavailable.
...
Seems like one of their presidents made the world independent.
I actually thought they were going to get arrested because the amount of times they were told to stop filming.
the girl at the tea shop seemed so nice
like genuine nice
Is there any full length movie instead of 14 parts?

You'd probably be pretty happy to have visitors too if all you did was wait for months at a time to play hostess for just a little while.
At least it isn't North Africa
seriously
you would not believe how bad North Africa is
Tick tock, tick tock
The 100,000 people performing for just the guys filming was really weird.
I remember watching this a while back, it's even more strange there than I thought it'd be. Interesting watch though.
That was a good watch. I really can't imagine this actually is real:aaa:
I would not have the balls to go to North Korea.
It's like everything you do is being observed carefully, and the atmosphere is so tense. I'm surprised that the guys didn't actually get in REAL trouble though, after so many warnings. I thought it would be "We said no cameras. What's this, a camera? Off to jail."
I liked the guide with whom they partied
I watched this a while ago it's really good
Poor teashop girl. I thought they would destroy him when he sung the sex-pistols...
The Tea Girl has to be the saddest part of the videos for me, going to work each day only to have a customer only come every 10 months or so.
Wow. North Korea is really freaky. I never really understood it but I am glad I know a little more about it now.
Also, the women are pretty hot there.

I think what they did was take a point+shoot digital camera that your allowed to take but picked out a model with good video recording as well and used that. But still I thought they always looked through things like your camera and such.
I wrote a report on North Korea freshman year because of this documentary.
13 and 14 are deep, the part with punk rock and the 120,000 people display was a huge shock.
I like the tea shop girl.

Africa is way worse because all the people there at batshit insane, Not brainwashed.
I want to go there and save the tea shop girl and bring her to a different country. She would probably be stoked to be surrounded by people. North Korea looks painfully lonely.
i've been to the dmz before like 2 years ago and shit was scary. can't imagine what it must feel like when you're going to the dmz from the north side.
