With out dubstep

Looks kinda cool. Not sure about the SAW thing though.
I'm liking the weapon variety
hopefully that thing about them bringing this to the PC is true
I'm sick of all this dubstep being in places it shouldn't.
Do the crosshairs look really off because they are really low down on the screen or is it just me?
It's a Halo thing. Halo 2 had it and it carried on to other Halo games.
I really like what's been shown of this game so far, the new weapons, the new enemies, the new armors. The weapon sounds are pretty cool too.
hopefully that thing about them bringing this to the PC is true
I have not heard this, but I doubt its true.
Some source said that 343 might make it for PC but I really doubt it.
not sure about the SAW, nto sure halo needs a full auto like that, but you never know it may work well in game.
I have not heard this, but I doubt its true.
they think it might be true because at the bottom of the Halo 4 website it says "system requirements forthcoming"

It fits perfectly into Halo cannon since the UNSC is based on the US marines in real life and is a hyper organized military. It just does not reflect in the games.

Eh, thats the Microsoft site for Halo 4, the official Halo 4 site is here

Even if it is out for PC, still getting it for the 360 since my IRL Halo friends only have consoles, I may get the PC version at a later date.

The issue isn't if '343 will make it for PC', it's 'when Microsoft realizes they can make money through larger distribution'
Wow, totally digging that machine gun thing
What I'm NOT sure of is the railgun since that is the most un UNSC thing in the games since the sparrowhawk in Halo wars.
the weapon sound effects sound really satisfying, kind of like when you watch commercials for potato chips and someone eats one and it sounds so godly

They have Gauss Turrets, isn't this kinda similar?

It's a heavy mounted turret, it is completely different to compact it into a rifle.

And that cannon would cause hearing damage if fired within twenty meters of infantry.
It might be reversed engineered based off Forerunner Tech, the UNSC Infinity is based on Covie and Forerunner Tech.
Oh my GOD.
A SAW.
In Halo.
My dreams. MY DREAMS.
A railgun is a railgun, there is not much way to incorporate Forunner (which seems to be energy based) and Covenant (which is plasma based) into it.

Okay then magic.

These aren't exactly normal infantry wielding these things. Then again, I wonder what excuse the covenant might ha- .. Wait, can one play as the Elites in multiplayer or is full Spartans only again?

It's probably just for if it needs a hard drive or not.

The UNSC guns you get in the game are from the Infinity which has no spartans on it. Not to mention MC is pretty much the last spartan that anyone knows of so they would not be made for them.

Then again, ever since Halo Wars (or ODST, whatever came first), Halo canon has pretty much collapsed into a convoluted mess that does not make any sense. *Sigh*
I'm assuming the reason for a Railgun is because this from what Halo Wiki says 4 years after Halo 3 so weapon advances don't sound to far off.

That still does not account for the fact it would rip apart your ear and cause your arms to tear off, but once again; Halo has begun to disregard canon and completely fucked over the story recently.
The announcer sounds weak.
The sound the railgun makes is incredibly satisfying.
