Yes. For stretching your limbs, it is. If you mean the way he walks during the fight, this is the most essential
part of karate and likely the biggest advantage over other fighters. It allows you to stand steady while
your upper body moves, to quickly sidestep out of an attack, to put all your momentum into your punches
and basically start any form of attack or defense move without losing much time.
