Color me intrigued....
that main character is giving me flashbacks to autodesk's hyperspace madness character [t]http://www.cganimationblog.com/image-files/2013/hyperspace-madness-sven.jpg[/t] might just be the hair, skull shape, and suit tho
Man that giant sea monster in the end was exactly what I was not hoping to see, Shit like that terrifies me. Still, The concept looks pretty cool.
Normally don't like Early Access but really want to try this. Can anyone who's played it say if it's worth it at $17 right now? I've always wanted an actually good underwater exploration game
Not worth it currently, very bare bones, you will just spoil the experience and joy of discovery if you get it now.
I don't like the art style, probably just me though.

Like it has been said for other games (such as DayZ), and those have said on this thread, getting a game in early access is really meant for those who love to play a game as it is developed and see how it grows and matures, as well as for those who provide feedback (F8) in order to help shape it into a game they'd like to play. Being that this game is currently around exploring and discovery, playing it in an early state kind of spoils the experience as there isn't much to see or do when comparing it to when it goes gold. That being said, the developers at UWE have done a great job at adding new things for us to test every week, and the map itself is phenomenally large, especially when you take into consideration that it was just added to early access. Seeing the game evolve over the past few months (note: experimental branch) has been quite an experience, and it's neat to see the new things to test come in week after week. One week we learn we can dig into the sand, another week we get a day/night cycle, complete with bio-luminescent plants. To reiterate: Early access for this game is really meant for either those who want to witness development week by week, or those who want to support the developers. If you want to experience the game in its entirety, you might want to consider waiting until it's feature complete.
