• Let's Die - Dark Souls Ironman playthrough

For those of you who don't know, an Ironman playthrough is basically when your character dies, they get deleted. I will be playing through Dark Souls like this, and without using a shield. My first attempt didn't go so well... Without a shield? You are insane
Why not 3 deaths? That way your character could see more of the game.
Why not 3 deaths? The only way around it is by doing a "glitch" where you jump on the elevator leading up to him, and rolling onto one of the balconies. I've never done that before though. I MIGHT make another exception to this though. I might make it so that if I'm wearing a Ring of Sacrifice and I die, I'll still go on. Is anyone actually interested in this?
Is anyone actually interested in this?
I'd probably end up watching them all eventually. Honestly, for all the silence your videos contain, they're quite entertaining.

I'm interested! I've been obsessed with Dark Souls for a while now. I'm only level 52 though, just defeated the Gaping Dragon with the help of Solaire and another player.
Part 2 of my 3rd attempt is up. Part 3 is uploading to youtube. Won't post until later tomorrow though, feel free to check around on my youtube for it when it's done uploading. cliffhanger oh no
I love when games have a built in mode like this. Not just quick rogue-likes though, longer sometimes very difficult campaigns like Max Payne 3 or the Witcher 2.
I recently watched a series of somebody doing a no deaths calamity ring run (hacked the calamity ring in at the start, replacing the tiny being's ring) with minimal use of shields (mostly just grass crest for the stamina buff, barely blocked with it ever) and thief, then shadow armor - so it's certainly doable. However, that doesn't mean your playthroughs aren't entertaining - watching someone learning as they go is arguably better than just watching someone win.

I'm watching the first part now. I was never able to get very far in Dark Souls because it thoroughly kicked my ass, but this seems interesting. Also, your phone's ringtone is cool.
