I still know a lot of people who don't use GPS (with offline/downloaded maps) because they still believe it would cost them money..

GPS has been free for like, over an eon now
tell them to stop being old
Interesting. I just downloaded it, curious how it is
This has been in testing quite a while. It seemed useful but it only really works in places where google maps has a heavy presence (EG: major cities in Europe, not towns)
I went on a trip to morocco and google maps wouldn't download the area offline, however I was somehow able to download it with google trips. If someone else does reservations and they don't go to your email then iirc there is no way to add flight details/reservations manually.
Still seems like a nice app though
great timing, going to london tomorrow for a week :v:

That's why you have both maps.me and google maps on your device
Google Now has been pretty useful when I've been on holiday, tells you when your Plane leaves when to leave from home, what buses/trains to take to the airport, then tells you what gate you need to be at, gives you an airport map.
Then when you're there it can tell you where your hotel is, the weather, gives you a currency conversion box, a translation box, tells you what fun things there are to do nearby, when they open and close, etc.
Really nice to have it all with a lot of offline support and more now tho.
Finally something to replace tripit which actually looks so good
