Oh the chimes, the chimes are great, and that thud!
for me as a kid, I was probably just as excited about that as I was about GTA V only a couple of months ago.
Except I played Lego Island like 10 times and GTA V only once.
I put more hours into that game as a kid than I did GTA V (mainly because I cry every time I have to touch an xbox controller)
Modern Lego games are also kinda fun in their own little way. It's just cute to see charming recreations of our favorite movies.
Oh man I remember LEGO Island.
Does anyone remember this game they had on their site where you were trying to break into the movie business or something? There was another one where you were a spy car and you had to spy on stuff.
I don't think I ever played LEGO Island, but I do remember playing Lego Racers.
That was the fucking shit.
"Why don't you put down my favorite ride, The Space Tower?"
My only regret in my youth is not knowing how to elevate the track on the rollercoaster.
I had a shit ton of LEGOs but never did I play the video games.
Those who didn't play Lego games when they were a child, go do so right now.
It's the best.

That first one is Lego Backlot. I played that game so much as a kid, but I never got past the 3rd chapter :v:
Don't know what the second one would be, but it reminded me of the Spybotics game, played the shit out of that one too.
I feel like the only one, who was playing this...

It was like Gmod. The great feeling of blowing up buildings with dynamite

Backlot, Crystalien conflict, LU and JunkBot were the shit.
I remember buying Universe just a bit after that came out. I kinda forgot about having it once my trial ran out (Even after it went F2P)
Man, I remember being mega-upset about the announcement of it's closure

Lego Universe was way better than people made out out to be, although the subscription was a little pricey. Even though it lacked a lot of content, there was loads of stuff coming out such as a new PVP gamemode.

fuck y'all this was the best
goty all years
I loved Lego Islands 4th wall humor, Nubby(the mechanic) makes several speeches about life. One of which is why nobody has any elbows. Also pizza is the only food on the island.

Ah yes Lego Island, I wonder why they didn't reference it in Lego City: undercover, or have any of the Lego Island characters in it.

I played the ever loving shit out of an old free game called RTB, or "Return to Blockland" and it was all Legos but not made by the actual Lego company. It eventually became the game "Blockland" and they had to make a new art style that doesn't look like actual Legos, but similar.
It's $10 on Steam, and I'm not sure if I want to buy it because I don't know if I'll actually enjoy playing it, or I'm just buying it for some nostalgia trip.

Ah, I remember cars and boats always getting lost in the mazes you could make.

You beautiful man I could kiss you. I gotta see if there's a working version somewhere.
I remember the second one because my mom didn't let me play it lol. And someone mentioned Junkbot, that was the greatest thing EVER.
I panicked and ran away from my computer the first time I let The Brickster out.
I was 22.
Nah I was 5, but having the vague semblance of plot suddenly land on me was quite unexpected.
I just found my Brickster, Pepper and Infomaniac mini figures the other day. I'm going to have to rebuild The Pizzeria and Police Station sets from the game I have.
Backlot, Crystalien conflict, LU and JunkBot were the shit.
OH man, how could I have forgotten about Junkbot!?
Many a day was spent playing that game.
As well as that one Creator/Technic themed contraption game, I forget what it was called or how exactly it worked...
And the Throwbots/Slizers and RoboRiders games were fucking awesome too! I remember having my dad look up the level codes for the Roboriders because I didn't have them all and wanted to play all the levels :v:

Did anyone else have the CD case for this where the side of the Jewel case was Lego?
