It looks like the cutscenes might be seamless now compared to the last games where they were pre-recorded.

A lot of games do this (cull objects) to save on memory when the object is no longer shown on the screen. Looks like they still have a few bugs to work out.

Yeah i know how object culling works, i was just pointing it out because usually most demos avoid having that kind of stuff (and because it caught my eye)

As for the video, although it's nothing revolutionary, it looks like the gameplay (specifically the gunplay) is much more openended and improved upon. I just hope it retains the charm of the first 3, which I'm assuming it will because this is probably the only game Naughty Dog is developing right now (3 was noticeably worse in terms of plot and charm because the main creative team was working on The Last of Us if I recall).

I'm pretty sure you can do that on purpose. It would be pretty anticlimatic if you had that whole gunbattle only to fall off a ledge because you didn't hit the button at the right time.

um theres a big difference between a hollywood action third person shooter built around the premise of being as cinematic as possible and a japanese strategy fighting game

The game looks fucking great, 3 had one of the greatest finales ive seen in a game, it was just so visually beautiful and huge. I hope 4 matches that.
1080p seems like 480p to me. I can even count the pixels :(
For as large and lush as the world is it still feels pretty empty.

Naughty Dog said that they aim for 60 fps for all their future PS4 titles, so it very likely will be.
