I'm not sure that this is covered in the warranty :dogwow:
For those that don't know, Tesla are using a computer vision system for rain detection rather than a standard rain sensor.
people who waste food like this really, really piss me off
every time some youtuber uses food as a gag, I just find it really pointless.
then you go to a kids charity carwash and pay them 5$ to clean your car.

Really dude? This is what they used (and I'm guesstimating weights)
water
orbies
eggs (2x)
sparkling water (12oz)
whipped cream
beer (12oz)
shaving cream
applesauce (32oz)
mustard/kethcup (12oz each)
mayo/relish (12oz each)
spaghetti sauce (16oz half bottle)
yoplait yogurt (4oz)
chocolate pudding (2x 3oz)
corn flakes (3-4oz)
mixed nuts (4oz)
leftover enchiladas (12oz)
big mac
campbell's soup (11oz)
pepto bismal
fake snow
Not all of it was food and c'mon man. Most of it looked like shit they picked out of their fridge that they no longer needed and was likely expired, it wasn't new unopened goods (save for the pudding and soup). It's not like they're techrax and filled a swimming pool full of coke.
And if youtubers who use food for a gag piss you off, you're probably looking at 50% of more of most top channels at some point or another. I really doubt Binging with Babish eats everything he cooks, for example.

The electricity you wasted reading this thread and replying could have been used to power the life saving equipment needed to save an infant.

thank you for using an extreme example to try and make what I said seem redundant
i'm not out building schools in third world countries and I drive a car, so I'm clearly not qualified to post about how dumb it is to waste food for a video

Food is cheap in the country these people live in. People spend a lot more on other forms of entertainment, it isn't a waste.
It's one thing if your blending iphone Xs and using the powder to test your wipers but this is just food, man. And if you think "oh but you could have given it to poor people" do remember we don't have a food shortage in the US, many retailers throw out food in bulk rather than donating it. Those people don't have food access for entirely unrelated reasons to "food waste:.

what are you smoking? what does the price of food have to do with what I originally posted?
and what's with the pitchfork mentality because I posted the equivalent of "wasting food is bad and they should feel bad"

I replied because i disagreed with it. It's stupid to worry about wasting food in the modern era, we have a massive global food surplus and i dont see you flipping out at other non-food "wastes" made for entertainment purposes.
You might wonder what i mean by that if so many people are starving, but the problem today is distribution and economics, not "wasting food".
Personally I'm more worried about pouring food all over a car as expensive as a Model S than the food itself.

Do you really need automatic wipers though , are there actually models without these non mandatory features that are cheaper?

automatic wipers are a nice feature tbh. they've helped a lot when I'm motorway driving through heavy / light / no rain sections and saves me having to even think about changing wiper speed.
it's a creature comfort.

Tesla are using the autopilot cameras for it, so no. It's standard on all their cars to do automatic emergency braking and such. You can turn the feature off though.
