I don't get it. I thought these boats had forward-looking captains.
white people activities
Those spectators are some assholes. Someone needs to push that old hag into the water
The whole thing is absurd to me.
huh I rowed there when I was in high school
im guessing the spectators are excited because usually regattas are really boring, you sit around for 8 hours starting at 7 AM and you get to see your kid's race for about 30 seconds
listen to all these white parents yelling at teenagers
its my favorite thing

Spotted the SAT failures.
that was the best chain of events i have seen all week
"We need to send that to ridiculousness"
Pretty sure I heard one guy say "This is worse than Dominos"
I always thought Dominos was pretty good. I got two Medium pizzas the other day for $15
this is why mirrors are made.
Those parents are assholes.
'beste stuurlui staan aan wal' is a Dutch saying that comes to my mind (the best captains are on shore)
Demolition Regatta.
Needs explosions, more trucker hats, and a beer stand to be complete.

Oddly specific

Spotted the person who got an under-developed education because they live in the states.
I used to row most days a week in school/6th form. The junior coxless events were always like this, though boats with coxes should never crash as badly as some of these unless there's some seriously strong wind.
They can also seriously injure people - if the oar gets hit it'll swing right into your ribcage. That happened to me once in a trial race with an oncoming cruiser :v:
I'm also shocked at the boat that needed to be pulled out of the reeds - surely they must have learnt how to reverse the boat before going to a regatta/head
Wow I didn't know that there was such a large rowing population on FP. The classic youtube rowing fail has to be ignatius though.

Not all classes have a coxswain (the forward-looking 'captain')
nothing is for fun anymore, everything is just competitive.

Well this one did and she was bloody arse.
Lot of mob wives there
"C'MAAAAN!"
What the hell is going on? Is this a competition or for fun or what?

It looks like a rowing head (essentially a time trial, one crew after the other)

Blame the parents.
Why has no one yet metioned the sex of the navigator?
Spotted the SAT failures.
Bahaha this is so specific, it's obvious you're projecting SAT scores as the highlight of your life. How sad.
Spotted the SAT failures.
I know a few people that got near perfect SAT scores. They currently work in Rite Aid.
I don't even remember if I took the SAT's. I have my own business and I've been featured in all sorts of media.
The SAT's in themselves mean almost nothing.
