But when are you really going to need a flexible display such as a tv? I guess it could work on cell phones, but then they got to make the rest of the phone flexible
I guess they could use this for commercials in cities, buildings e.t.c
TV screen newspapers like harry potter except less magic, we're not far behind.
I just don't see much use for this
Think big guys. Imagine a roll up 24" screen you could use to bring to a field and watch a movie or, if applied with 3G and GPS viability. A map that follows your location.

What if it got bent? Like paper, would it have a permanent crease in it?

You could get one, put on it a picture of a giant dick then wrap it around your own dick. It would look shady if it was a black one though.

Unless it's a black guy that does it!

It looks like shit though

While flexible phones and tablets is a cool idea in itself, the biggest flaw with portable devices at the moment is the screens are incredibly fragile. Think how many times you can remember someone having to replace a phone because of a damaged screen. This completely removes that flaw, flexible casing or not.
Then wouldn't the penis glow in the dark?

Could you imagine clothing made out of this stuff?
It would be totally impractical, sure, but who's gonna say anything against the man walking down the street playing Pacman on his pants?

It would be neat to own a wrist-band type of watch that can stream music while you walk.. weather reports and stuff like that.
nano technology isn't so far away.
They should make cups out of this. Imaging pouring a drink into a cup to have it should the logo of what you're drinking. It'd be good for fancy bars and whatnot.
This is awesome. It might not seem practical yet but I can pretty much guarantee it will lead to some interesting things.
Wasn't this demonstrated, like 4 years ago?
