Is that camera using software stabilization or something? The room is warping and I don't think I'm trippin But of course mad props for this kid. I can't imagine how he'd feel.
I hope he commutes or stays home, dorm life he will get torn apart.
I like how the quiet background music makes it seem like he got a letter telling him he needs to save the world
This makes me smile.

You can have the biggus dickus jock out there defend someone like him. Shit's not cool man. Like you can have hardcore gangbangers stick up for the mentally challenged kid because he doesn't know better let alone it's just ungodly cruel to do that.

Then......there is still hope for me yet!!
I don´t know really, for me going to college or university has the goal of getting a degree, which he won´t get when you look at the source
His mother, Susan, said: ‘This is an amazing two-year program for a small number (15) of young adults with special needs. For me it is a waste of money.

It was a dream come true for the sports fan, who wanted to experience the life of a college student His mother, Susan, said: ‘This is an amazing two-year program for a small number (15) of young adults with special needs. This isn’t a program in which one can earn a degree. ‘Right now, Clemson is one of five universities in SC with a LIFE program. I love that kids like Rion get to experience college life and this type of independence. Proud of my alma mater!’
It is just for the experience, but people will treat him special so it is not an experience that normal people will have at college. He's not going to special classes for a degree, it's a program to help him learn to be more independent. Which probably will give him a better quality of life than a degree ever would.
Clemson has a 57% acceptance rate. He must be really impressive academically.
no excuse not being bright enough for college

Obviously, 110 is rather rare, but it's not unheard of at all for people with Down's to have an IQ of around 80, which; with dedication and such, should be able to carry you through college. Of course this guy, as mentioned earlier, isn't getting a real education, just the experience.
Clemson has a 57% acceptance rate. He must be really impressive academically.
It's not Clemson he's getting into but Clemson's program for special needs students. Which is still pretty badass.
A major problem people with Down's have, even those who are relatively smart, is the speech. I'm not sure a lot of people realize it, but the way you talk mean a lot for how people perceive your intelligence. If someone has trouble getting the words across their lips or speak with a heavy dialect, they're going to sound less intelligent, even if what they're saying is perfectly bright and sound.
I think youtube has built in stabilization.
Yeah, it says that it detects shaking and asks if you want to enable stabilization when you upload a video. I haven't tried it yet, I'm scared that when it's enabled it can't be turned off. And that would be kinda bad for my BF4-videos. :v:
