Imagine cleaning this up, adds even more money.
Lesson of the day: Make sure your rockets work before launch.
Looks like the end of the world when the debris started to fall.
being around there would be scary as fuck. it's like you're in the middle of a huge meteor storm.
Fireworks. :buddy:
Expensive :frown:
I'd crap myself if I saw those debris flying towards me!
I'd pay to see that. One day I want to see a nuclear bomb test.
Provokes the question, how many of us have actually seen an explosion?
Looks like hell.
Also stock sounds.
That was awesome.
at least it was unmanned
Money well spent.
I just don't get how the fuck they managed to miss a 17 foot long crack in one of the SRBs?
Looks sort of fake. Emphasis on SORT OF /caps
Dramatic music.
How do they determine a crack was the cause if its in a million tiny pieces?
fireworks
oh my jesus that was awesome
Well now we know where Micheal Bay gets his explosion effects from.
A huge crack? How did they miss it?

There's never a 100% certainty that rockets this size will launch successfully.

Money.
It takes time and therefor money to inspect a rocket so they probably didn't do as thorough a job as they should have.
