Ok so Mr.RookieCop pulls gun on Mr.PissedOffBaldCop not knowing he's an actual cop because of cop impersonators robbing people. So he starts flipping out at the bald cop and his buddy that shows up later.
The trooper was in the right, I mean fuck that im not pulling over to a dodge caravan with corner strobes. its so easy to impersonate cops i don't blame him for being wary.
Reminds me of the time I was driving and this random Ford F150 suddenly light up like a cop car. It had no markings, no spotlight, no government tag, nothing. Scared the shit out of me, I still don't know if it was a real cop. The only lights were on the dash and the back, but it pulled someone over. It had no siren either.
The best thing to do when being pulled over by an unmarked car is to first check the plates, because cops have special municipal plates, even on unmarked cars. Secondly, if you're still weary, request he call in another officer in a marked vehicle. Personally, I don't think an unmarked car should be able to stop a person without marked backup.

Cop Impersonators are out there and some of them are fucking nuts. They'll go so far as to putting lights and stickers on their cars, pulling people over, and even writing them fake tickets. My father told me a story once about how he was responding to an accident and there was an officer from some bullshit PD that doesn't exist following him to the accident. Showed up, got out of his car, looked around and left. Father didn't pay much mind to it at the time as he was helping the people in the accident
But fake cops are out there and they're all crazy as shit

You're allowed to, and encouraged to call 911 if something like that happens. You could save someone's life.

In some states it is [I]illegal[/I] for an unmarked police car to make traffic stops.

Most UC/Plain clothes cops know that when a Uniform tells you do to something you do it. The uniform isn't going to know you're a cop. State troopers are higher on the food chain compared county officers. They where in the state troopers territory and tried to tell him off, not a good idea. The county cops lack any form of professionalism.
Also, if you are being pulled over by someone who you aren't sure is a cop, call 911. Tell them that you are being pulled over and you want to be sure of who they are. Slow down, keep driving, and pull over into the nearest well lit and highly visible parking lot. [I]especially[/I] if its at night.
