just looked at this guy's twitter, he's an absolute cunt to his fans
what happened?
dave mustaine is a fucking dick
why do you think metallica dumped his ass lol:
On April 11, 1983, after Metallica had driven to New York to record their debut album, Mustaine was officially fired from the band because of his alcoholism, drug abuse, overly aggressive behavior, and personality clashes with founding members Hetfield and Ulrich, an incident Mustaine refers to as "no warning, no second chance". The band packed up Dave's gear, drove him to the Port Authority Bus Terminal, and put him on a Greyhound bus bound for Los Angeles.[7] It was on this bus ride that Mustaine scribbled some lyrical ideas on the back of a hand bill, which would later become the song "Set the World Afire" from the 1988 Megadeth album So Far, So Good... So What!
This point needs to be reiterated:
David Mustaine is such a jerk, drank so much and did so much drugs, that he got kicked out of Metallica. A band that:
A) Was nicknamed "Alcoholica" due to their incredible consumption
B) Has Lars Ulrich in it
C) Has more songs about drugs than anything else
D) Has James Hetfield in it
E) Is almost as famous for their rehab antics as for their music
Getting kicked out of Metallica for being too big an asshole is like getting kicked out of the sumo league for being overweight.
I'm pretty sure Dave seriously believes the Illuminati controls the world. All those drugs have done a number on his head.
dave mustaine looks like donald trump

I second this. I am genuinely curious.
EDIT:
Okay, according to some guy on the ultimate-guitar forums:
I was at the show so I'll give a bit of context. The band went on 10 minutes late because the tech kept testing and retesting . Despite this, Kiko and Dave were still out of tune with each other. There were heaps of feedback and monitor issues and the band left the stage a few times to try and fix it. There was a backing and click track playing over the intro to Sweating Bullets. The final straw was Dave coming out to play the opening lick to Peace Sells and the sound cut out.
another witness' account
As far as this goes.... my buddy was at this show. According to him, Dave's guitar was out of tune at times, and he said there was even a few times where it seemed like somebody was just eq'ing his amp the whole show to see how it sounded if he added extra mids, bass, etc. So in that sense, I can't really blame Dave. I'd be a little angry too if somebody who I paid wasn't doing their job.
I'll never forget this.
Dave Mustaine once deliberately spilled beer on a bassists guitar while it was connected to an amp.
Thought the title said "Slightly inbred". It would explain a few things.
Megadeth is shit live with good sound techs anyway
there's one thing you gotta know about him, regardless of his past with hard drugs and huge mood swings while under the influence, this is just how he is, he's really passionate about his fans, he was mad because his last show's audio tech gave them like a good 20-30mins of audio issues on the concert date and dave just said fuck this and fired the people responsible.
I honestly don't know if I'd like Dave Mustaine more or less if he wasn't so crazy.
Dave is a shit vocalist anyways.
I'd be fine if Megadeth just dumped his ass and became an instrumental band.

You realize he basically is the band at this point?
The band broke up in 2002 when Mustaine was paralyzed in his left hand, and couldn't play guitar. They didn't even try to find a new guitarist and let Mustaine do just vocals, he just shut the band down entirely. Mustaine and Ellefson were the only two consistent members before that, and they reformed with basically three new members plus Dave (Ellefson came back eventually... presumably when he needed more money).
That said, I'd be down for an instrumental Megadeth. They were only ever good despite Mustaine's vocals, not because of them.
Or better yet, merge with Metallica. Kirk and James will finally be outnumbered and prevented from making that blues shit they keep trying to do, Hetfield can sing a million times better than Mustaine, and hell, three guitars worked for Iron Maiden, it can work for Metallideth. And maybe with that many people they'll be able to scrape out a few more good songs. And then to finish it off, they'll inevitably implode again, leading to more entertaining antics as they bitch at each other to the metal press.

Yeah! Fuck metallica sold out after and justice for all!!! boo!
I saw Megadeth live last week, I enjoyed it a lot. Holy Wars was amazing live especially with the circle pits going and all.
Andy Rehfeldt strikes again
