Why? Just because it took a cute art style and something cute and turned it into a violent zombie fest doesn't mean anything as far as mental health goes. It's just his style. People look at this and go 'wtf' but have you actually seen a modern 'horror' movie in the past 20 years? Friday the 13th? Nightmare on Elm Street? The Thing? The Hills Have Eyes? Texas Chainsaw Massacre? Saw? The Collector?
I mean, those started as bloody rape fests and are now uber-bloody rape fests. When someone does something far less...brutal, in cartoon form, it's all of a sudden disturbing.
I remember seeing the second video a while back. All very well done. Trippy as fuck too.
