They're the worst thing ever (sarcastic title be damned) because they have a name for themselves which automatically signifies that they're at a tier of obsession ranging from a job to a religion. Fuck, they use their own language, for God's sake.
I don't call myself something because I like a cartoon. Why do they? Because deep down they're self conscious about liking this show and violently proclaim they like it to make themselves feel better about it. I certainly don't care what other people watch, but giving yourself a name is where you're not allowed to complain about being made fun of. I mean, if you're going to go that far then have some humility.
