"It feels like classic Command and Conquer, it feels like Generals" What? How is general's even considered Classic Command and Conquer, wasn't that the first stain on the C&C game list since EA acquired Westwood.
Can we talk about how bad of an idea the name is? Seriously, Just Command & Conquer? How is that not going to be confusing with the original game?

Tiberium wars was okay the only really shitty one was c&c4
Generals was incredible.
Compared to the old C&C games it was average at best. They removed quite a lot of things that were in the original C&C games that made them great. Engineers walls terrain deformation subterranean vehicles Weather systems(remember when you couldn't fly air units while a storm was going on?) mineral fields live action cut-screens
To me the only cool thing about Generals was that it was 3D. Gameplay was meh.

It's still a damn shame they didn't continue to add features like that instead of remove them.

But I guess the C&C name helped sell it.
