This feels eerily similar to Kaptain Kristian video.
The Truman Show is one of my favourite movies ever. The absurdity of reality comes to light.
I liked where it pointed out the symbolism of the positive images being associated with this fake reality, while actual reality was always dark and traumatic, but the political stuff was painfully forced. Most of his analogies seem to just look for vague connections without any real thematic substance behind them.

The Truman Show came out in 1998, so connecting it with current political climate and reality can only be done by assigning some level of artistic foresight and insight (into human psyche) to the particular work, that's entirely subjective.
