I get your frustration with what is essentially mediatized bullying, but in the western world if you honestly haven't kissed your significant other once prior to your wedding, that's pretty fucking weird bro. A relationship requires physical compatibility, almost 99% of all relationships are founded on exploration both mentally and physically of your partner.

while i understand why its interesting and why people enjoy watching it, TLC's show lineups consist solely of shows like this
i get it, laugh at people who are "pretty fucking weird," but i dont understand why a channel that calls itself "the learning channel" only airs shows that constantly demean and insult other people for enjoyment
there is literally not a single show on tlc that doesnt fuel off the "wow they are freaks" or "haha what a loser" gimmick, just in a different setting like "breaking amish"
then you have shows that are borderline abusive, like long island medium, which consist of a scam artist and a bunch of people who get scammed by her crazy psychic powers. assuming the clients in the episodes arent actors, these people get royally fucked over on national television
most of these shows only last all of a few months; interest dies off, and they make a new one about some other poor group of people
like god damn that channel has nothing positive about it

It's not that they're "weird", it's a little bit comical but for the most part it's pretty awe inspiring to see that this couple has fallen in love without ever kissing before their marriage. That takes some true self control, I'm sorry
