It might have been alright, then the talking snowman jar-jar showed up.
Title had me thinking something completely different
looks really generic IMO. Nothing that particularly stands out to me that this will be a good one from Disney.
So it's Tangled but with less acoustic and more snow?
The reindeer is cute, at least.
Tangled's trailer was the exact same way and it turned out to be a fantastic movie. I have no doubt that this movie will be great
this actually looks p. good
If only it was this kind of frozen [t]http://surbrook.devermore.com/adaptationswesternanimation/incredibles/Frozone.jpg[/t]
To be honest the Snowman isn't THAT bad. Could have been worse.
Disney's really taken a liking to using adjectives as titles. Anyway is this based off of any sort of existing fiction? Because nearly every successful movie they've ever made is based off of existing fiction of some sort.
Yes, it's based on The Snow Queen.
Not only that but Walt Disney wanted a Snow Queen ride in both Disneyland and Disneyworld originally. There is even concept art floating around of the ride.
Tangled's trailer was the exact same way and it turned out to be a fantastic movie. I have no doubt that this movie will be great
I don't know why you guys rated this optimistic. Mio's telling the truth. Wanna know why? This movie is a musical. From the guy and gal who made the songs for the recent Winnie the Pooh movie. And one of the members of the duo made the songs for Book of Mormon and Avenue Q, so there's that. Trailers lie, but Disney's trailers have been lying so much more recently after the executives started believing Princess and the Frog "failed" (it didn't) because it had Princess in the title (which is why Rapunzel changed to Tangled and Snow Queen to Frozen) and because the trailers made sure to tell people this was a return to the Disney classics (by showing the musical numbers, etc), which made the executives think "all people want now are witty banter and pop songs in the trailers a la Dreamworks!"
