263 years. Fucking disgusting piece of shit. He's not going to make it long in prison at all.
What was he thinking? Why even become a cop if you're going to intentionally break the law, especially to this extreme?
What was he thinking? Why even become a cop if you're going to intentionally break the law, especially to this extreme?
So you can break the law and get away with it a bit easier since you are a cop. Good thing not this time.
So you can break the law and get away with it a bit easier since you are a cop. Good thing not this time.
That's such an awful reason, cops are supposed to be people you can trust.
I tried counting. I got 258 years.
That's such an awful reason, cops are supposed to be people you can trust.
Well duh, but this is a guy who just got 200+ years of jail time for rapes, sexual assault, battery, etc... In which he used his position of a cop to do. He is an awful person with awful reasons. Just a flat out bad person.
That's such an awful reason, cops are supposed to be people you can trust.
and that no doubt helped him commit his crimes, that and the authority he had over people. he got what he deserved
I'm curious as to what exactly was 2nd degree rape with instrumentation? Did he use his nightstick or something? What the fuck.
Welp, that's what happens.
Awful crime, but 263 years? A bit overkill don't you think? On the lighter side, here's a Florida cop saving a woman: https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1511034

isn't this like months old?

Like seriously, what the fuck goes on in their head that drives them to go through with their actions? Rape is fucking disgusting, and repeating it? You'd think that after you realize you're a terrible person and you've done a terrible thing that destroys another person's life you'd seek help, but to repeat the crime on other people? People like this are sadistic, disgusting humans with absolutely no sense of morality. I just can't wrap my head around it.
These sentences are served concurrently, they don't add up
I'm curious as to what exactly was 2nd degree rape with instrumentation? Did he use his nightstick or something? What the fuck.
1st degree rape is rape with someone who is of age and doesn't consent. 2nd degree rape is, in most cases, statutory rape (it appears most of his charges were 2nd degree), and you were correct, by instrumentation means with a device other than his penis.
These sentences are served concurrently, they don't add up
Which means he may not face 263 years - as he serves each sentence they may be reduced depending on a variety of factors. It's most likely he's facing life in prison if he survives, but there's the slimmest chance he may get out if he makes it to his 80's or 90's.

Man just watching this dude realize his life is effectively over rip
Thirteen people is like... two or three families worth of people, dude. He hurt a lot of women, in ways they might not be able to get through. Rape commonly causes PTSD. For forcing thirteen innocent people to suffer like that, 263 years is the perfect sentence. Now if only it was consecutive too, so he'd be locked up for the rest of his life

I don't understand when you get a sentencing longer than you could possibly live for. Why not just say "imprisoned until death"? What're they gonna do when he dies? Put him in skeleton jail?

I'm far from an expert on law, but this is what I've heard for the reason.
- i dont care anymore except people should do a simple google search before making assumptions -

Thanks for explaining it [editline]18th March 2016[/editline]
Good GOD people what is with this thread
Holy shit I'm sorry for asking a question
What makes it even more disgusting and tragic is how nice and trustable he looks.
