I think people don't actually realise what they're doing when they're buying a game like MW3, they think its just "eh i'll just buy this game fuck the haters!" its an ignorant tone but they are not actually aware of what they're actions are doing, by buying the game they don't realise it's basically them saying it's ok for a company like Activision to do what it does and just treat the industry like a cash cow and with no respect to it's consumers, it's going to affect the future of the industry because with people buying they are clearly going to keep doing it and this will terribly affect the way the development of the games industry goes in the future, it's sad to think people generally don't care then again what can you expect when a majority of it is aimed at kids.

You can't see the bigger picture. Lets say you are a new worker in a factory. There is a 100 other workers, from which 20 are new ones. Your job is to do 100 something within 8 hours. Everyone can easily do the 100 and since you're only required to do the 100, nobody pushes himself to make more, so everyone makes around 100. But you and other 20 new dumbasses make 200 within 8 hours for some fucking reason. Now the boss finds out that you can do 200 within 8 hours and now everyone is required to do 200 in the same time for the same pay. If someone makes even more the required number will increase further. The more you let someone fuck you over the more they will try. Why is that relevant? I'll tell you why. Because the other bosses will look at this and they will do the same. The high number of sold copies for CoD every year with few 15$ mappacks each, shows that you can make a reskin of a game every year and earn money from the dumbass video game community. I really hope other companies don't catch the trend because it's going to be the end of gaming industry. Nobody's gonna even bother to check that it's mainly underage kids playing M rated game.
And I can have a negative opinion on someone who's buying the same game every year for 60$, is so fucking pleased about it and unawarely shows publishers that we're going to buy any shit they spew out given enough advertisement and hyping.

I honestly haven't found a game that has a significantly better or worse community than any other game. It's just a lot more people play CoD than other games so obviously there will be more retards.

What's wrong with the gaming community is that many of them don't earn their own money and will have their mums buy CoD for them even tho they are 13. And by so many of them buying the reskinned game every year you show the publishers is a good idea to release the same game every year.

Honestly I can't wait for Modern Warfare 3 to come out so I can enjoy it for hundreds of hours with all my friends. Hey, I might even make new ones when it breaks another launch record.
