I don't get it.
The shop owners in Skyrim go on about your master smithing and whatnot but they sell you useless shit ie Iron Daggers. But yeah it's not funny.
you both literally missed the whole joke, well done
Your joke sucks, well done. [edit] Well, with it explained it's kind of funny. :>
cheers
the point of the joke was, there is a way in skyrim to get your smithing to 100 with using only iron daggers. its alot easier than trying to do it with actual big armor pieces or higher tier weapons.
You can get to 100 Smithing skill (you can smith basically anything at that level) by just making a shitload of Iron Daggers Fuck
yes ionutt, thats the joke
you both literally missed the whole joke, well done
I think he got the joke.
The shop owners in Skyrim go on about your master smithing and whatnot but they sell you useless shit ie Iron Daggers. cheers donez
Yea I pretty much got this the first time because while leveling up I just spammed iron daggers since they require very little materials and smiths sell these materials. Leather strips and Iron ingots, that's it. If you want to get your smithing up faster, riften has a blacksmith trainer (the blacksmith himself). There is also a quest you can pick up from a argonian woman at the riften pier. She gives you a dwarven lexicon, you go to a dwarven ruin and unlock the lexicon which gives you a buff that increases smithing leveling speed by 15%.
I always had much more leather than iron, so I used it to make some leather armor until I got to 100, while making a couple weapons here and there.
I thought it had to do with the fact that he's talking about how his gear is so amazing then goes on to insult him by offering him an iron dagger.
I thought it had to do with the fact that he's talking about how his gear is so amazing then goes on to insult him by offering him an iron dagger.
It's a friendly nod toward an exploit. Was gonna do it as a comic strip but can't draw.
You are a master smith, now buy a dagger from me because I have a couple thousand from you.

It's easier to gather resources (2 Leather + Strip) 2. Gets same XP if not more 3. Sells for much more gold Iron Dagger: Cost to make = Iron Ingot (7g) + Leather Strip (3g) = 10g Raw value = 10g Profit = 0% Leather Helmet: Cost to make = 2x Leather (10g) + Leatherstrip (3g) = 23g Raw value = 60g Profit = 260%

Leather bracers, 1 leather 2 leather strips.
it's because of this method that i have too much fucking gold i raided like 3 dungeons getting soul gems to enchant the fuckton of daggers i would make (so as to level my enchanting and smithing skill), sold a fuckton of daggers with 2 second paralysis, and ended up with about 60k gold.
Both of the characters have the same voice (the 'iron dagger' line was the Dragonborn, right?) and you're wearing Dragonplate Helmet with Dragonscale Armor, this irks me...
I found Transmute pretty early so I have a shit ton of gold ingots rather than iron ingots. Yet nobody who have enough money to sell it to. :frown: What the hell? They took away :frown: :frown:
Both of the characters have the same voice (the 'iron dagger' line was the Dragonborn, right?) and you're wearing Dragonplate Helmet with Dragonscale Armor, this irks me...
the shopkeeper has a different accent, a mytic generic 'foreign' accent, and the dragon born is just american. im wearing the light armour set, so if the helmet is different blame bethesda
This was the way I used to gain master smithing! Genius video
This was the way I used to gain master smithing! Genius video
Thanks bud, thought about making more shorts like this
I accidentally killed the smith owner in Whiterun by dropping a few thousand daggers in his shop.
I always found the idea of carrying thousands of daggers in my pockets hilarious
I get the joke, but it's kinda meh. I see you remade the video, also.
