I really like the idea of the Alien being able to appear any time, anywhere.
They say they never give you a weapon you could kill the xeno with while videos showing a flamethrower/incidiary bombs. If I'd keep using those on the thing and still wouldn't do jack to him I'd feel pissed.

I'd imagine doing enough "damage" to the xeno would simply scare it off/force it to retreat

I hope this one doesn't disappoint. It looks pretty, and it's cool that there is only one Xeno but it's always hunting you. But come on, it would definitely see you under a bed. And that Android is retarded that he didn't see her behind that box.
It's been a long time since I've seen the movie, did hiding really help against the Xeno?

Fire has never killed an adult Alien, ever, only eggs, FH and CBs.

Also I really like the idea of using the thing that's hunting you to kill your enemies.
massively disappointed theres going to be usable weapons in the game.

don't think it'll make much of a difference. considering that it's the only alien, it'd be very dumb to let you kill it. :v: it'll most likely just be used to buy yourself some time, at most

I'm a little confused about the android thing. She said it killed you in one hit but twice in the video he just blocks the players attack and punches them in the face, only knocking them back.
This game looks REALLY good in all aspects.

I found the video 10x better by muting it. The commentary was just awful and ruined the snippet of game they were showing.
Game looks pretty damn sweet so far, although I won't believe it until I play it for myself, seeing as I bought into the last Alien game hype and was severely disappointed.

As far as I know yes. But it comes with commentary and interviews too during gameplay video on YouTube.
