Why call it LV-426 when it takes place inside the ship? Does it go out onto the surface?
Well if it's ripped from Alien: Isolation it [sp]Literally is LV-426 as you visit there in a flashback scene, possibly need to edit up the outside portion of the map to fit with the ship?[/sp]
A lot of these mods are just ripping map files straight out of other games and then present them as original work.
I'd be surprised if this were any different.

There's a LOOOT of work involved in making these maps even remotely playable in BLOPSIII. Getting them to a point where they're fun and balanced to play and polishing them is an even bigger challenge.

the work this person is doing is not as difficult as i want it to be therefore it has no merit whatsoever because i am an insufferable twit who has no friends so i have to sit on my ass demeaning other people all day on a garrys mod forum

iirc V12US is a talented Source modder so it's not like he's out of his depth. Still no need to be a bitter asshole about it
