cool now that we've (once again) established that he looks like an idiot can we talk about his actual point Which I completely agree with. He nailed this one on the head; people need to calm the fuck down about video games. Probably won't ever happen because, as per the laws of nature, anonymous people on the internet will always let their awful inner mindsets do the typing. But it's nice to imagine a world where everyone online didn't overreact to everything.

I find it extremely funny that what just happened in the thread is pretty related to the content of the video: Jim puts his videos in a framework of ironic humor, and then people miss the joke that's dangling right in front of their eyes, and instead they just assume he's some edgy tosser. I post these videos on FP in the vain hope that people will discuss the points made in the video, not that they keep getting stuck on Poe's law.

I think Jim was bang on with everything he said in the video, and this forum plus many more are testament to his statement, and to the complete lack of humor or intelligence to misunderstand/interpret what he is saying e.g."dressed up in a trench coat with glasses like he's some sort of rock star, with a background that makes it look like he's in a bad production of V for Vendetta" jims point proven!
