I'm calling this now, and I might be wrong.
The whole game turns out to be a TV show based in the Saint's Row universe, sort of like Nightblade.
The plot twist however is that instead the crew watching this show, it's Killbane, in a space doomsday ship [sp]Like the one in SR4 that blows up Earth[/sp].

It seems to be part of the universe stemming from the "Reboot" ending of Gat out of Hell. Gat and Kenzie are after a criminal named Brimstone, who is the leader of the Agents of Mayhem.

I can take that more serious than I can take what the flying fuck this game is supposed to be.
It's like all the bad parts of Saints Row 4 and all the bad parts of Borderlands 2 fucked the Trine.
some of the previews are straight up shitting on the game which doesn't exactly bode well for them

They should have just gone for Saints Row Five-0. A hybrid between Saints Row and Sleeping Dogs could be brilliant.
