Well even is Albarn and Hewlett split, it wouln't really make a difference. Albarn is the music behind the project, Hewlett the art & style. Any other performers (for the recordings or live) are guns for hire or guests.
The only real "other" member was for the first album (Miho Hatori doing the voice of Noodle), but even then was still only a contributor.
