Ricky Gervais is great.
Hah, he gets away with pretty harsh jokes there.
Haha the look on Johnny Derps face after he said the joke :v: "Opposite of Scientology" This man is my new hero :smug:
Ricky Gervais is awesome but I'm afraid he's going the route of Carrot Top.... Obsessed with body building and is just Assholishingly showing it off all the time... He did it on Stewart's show once But other than that, He's fucking great

Quite amazing that he can keep he's face like that for so long without laughing or something
Quite amazing that he can keep he's face like that for so long without laughing or something
He deserves the Emmy just for that.
Ricky Gervais is just one of those comedians who doesn't give a shit, which is why I like him so much.
haha I guess hes now banned from the golden globes for that
http://www.popeater.com/2011/01/17/ricky-gervais-banned-golden-globes/ He got himself banned. I, for one, find it hilarious
In my mind, that's what hezzy is like.
"To make matters worse, though, Gervais' last words in the telecast were, "Thank God for making me an atheist." Smooth move!" Psssh, nothing wrong with the phrase. Some of the other things, yes, but this? No.
This man is now my God.
Robert De Niro's face at 4:24 was priceless.
Asshurt celebs. Gervais should roast them further.
They're probably just upset because they didn't expect to get roasted.

No.
Regardless what someone believes, you don't alienate the viewing audience with your politic or religious views like that when you're hosting a major award ceremony, that's a given, you just don't. But I think by the end he knew his bridges were burnt to the ground, so he poured gas on the rubble and pissed on the ashes. I loved it and much respect to the man for doing it.
Aw, make national headlines about Celebrities feelings being hurt
He's a comedian; if he's not pushing boundaries, then he's not doing his job. Some of these, so called, "stars," need to grow a sense of humor.

I watched this three times over and he had me laughing every single time. One article I read over the whole matter is a quote of someone saying 'if we take ourselves too seriously then what are we doing here, we're actors' or something along that vein. I agree whole-heartedly, I mean if I were the butt-end of his jokes, i'd still be laughing my ass off.
Ricky Gervais does my head in, I just don't find him funny at all like in The Office everyone was talking about it and shit but it's just going "yeah in an office your boss can be a bit of a prick sometimes and do stupid shit"

That was pretty awesome. Also: Robert de Niro's face
Wow they banned him? What a bunch of jackasses.
Well, it doesn't surprise me they banned him, I didn't think Hollywood could stand a joke. But I laughed at all of his jokes.

Wow, this guy is brilliant. Those actors needed a good laugh on their part for once. Get over it.
De Niro had a go as well
