He is lucky he can still walk, it if would have hit right at his spine he would be atleast cripple for life or worse.

Shrapnel wounds can be real nasty.

Graham Philips is actually well known of praising Putin, he's just another journalist working for Kremlin.

Same guy as in this video, why is this "journalist" learning to shoot while wearing a seperatist uniform?

Because why not? He's shooting at target range, there's nothing that bars journalists from doing that. Wearing whatever is given to you (or whatever you want) is also acceptable as long as it's not in the field.
My old man collected bits of shrapnel from Lebanon in film case, they are twisted at hard angles and razor sharp to the touch.

That's why I get a kick out of him, his story is so goofy.
Went to a brothel in Amsterdam and was with a Russian prostitute, after that he thought "damn I need a slav wifey" so he moved to Odessa. Tried writing some books that didn't really work out. His friend said he should buy a camera and document what's going on, so he did. He asks silly questions to rebel leaders in broken Russian, and has this this super wide eyed look to him. So far he's set off 1 tripwire which shot off signal flares him being Graham got startled and confused and thought Ukrainian troops were shooting at him. So he posted about being shot at by Ukrainians only to be proven wrong later, probably embarrassed still refuses to admit it. He's been detained and deported, roughed up by Ukrainian authorities, stepped on another tripwire but not hard enough to set it off, now he takes 120mm mortar shrapnel. He's a clueless Brit noguns so seeing him try to use an AK is painfully humorous.
He doesn't even work for RT, I dunno if RT is just cheap or doesn't like him or what but they lead him with a carrot and a stick. He does some things for them but he doesn't work for them.
I just enjoy him for the footage regardless of whatever his personal stance is.

I found his interview with a Kiev born Moscow corporate lawyer who speaks perfect English very interesting.
