Everything looks great...but the clothes and weapons etc. that the people use are just fucking laughable.

How'd the American guy and the Russian girl suddenly understand eachother after the transition? The entire thing has this inescapable feel that it could've been so much better if they used a quarter of the effort they used on so many special effects into making the writing not shit.
Also, I like how the Asian rebel decided finishing his sentence had higher priority than the fact that people were suddenly shooting at them.
