he forgot to tell the kid to let go of the wheel if he wants it back to center. its a real habit to get rid of and pretty much stopped my sis from getting hers for a while since she couldnt turn as smoothly.
Next time she can walk, holy shit.
Imagine driving with that person riding shotgun - they can walk.

I always let the wheel go just enough so it slides back to place while rubbing against my hands, it feel really neat and it lets me grab the wheel immediately if i need to
Moms have an unspoken duty to freak out about things like this. My mom was the same way when I was learning how to drive, although this kid looks a little young to be driving in the first place.

I do this all the time. It's easier for me but in driving school they teach you to never let go of the wheel. Control reasons of course.

you probably shouldnt because while you let go of the wheel you are no longer controlling the vehicle.

which is fucking stupid, you should hover your hands over it to get back to center instead of fighting over the turning.

if you keep your hands around it and let it slide back into place, you can just grab it in a millisecond to get back control.

um you can keep your hands on the wheel without fighting it.

this works i guess. wouldnt advise doing it during a driving test though you may lose some points.

thats exactly what my sis did and it was encouraged in driving class since your turning will be less sporadic and much smoother, literally no points off on the test since your hands are right there to grip it and stop the turn or continue it.
oh ok. my driving instructor advised me not too is all.
Not a single fuck was given that day.
I'm so glad my mom had confidence in me when I was taught. It made me fall in love with driving instead of fear it.
Man I couldn't stand when my parents were teaching me how to drive. It's like they expect you to know how to control the car right off the bat and freak out over the slightest of things. I ended up freaking the fuck out on my parents when driving because they just caused me so much stress behind the wheel.
I swear I told my dad not to upload this.
:\

I'm the exact opposite. Took me years to get my license because I was too damn anxious to have my mom teach me to drive.
Hahaha I feel like he'd be the chilliest dad ever!
The dad was loving it.
the girl's a spaz, let the kid learn
People like that hinder the learning so much

10/10 would bang your mom. just not in a car
Man they gotta fix the ceiling in that car.

I thought I was the only one that did this. For some reason I always feel like a badass after doing it.
Man it's so horrible to have someone in the car like that when you are learning to drive. When I learned to drive I only had one of my parents in the car at a time. That way I was only following one set of instructions, you get someone like this who is frantic and it makes the whole experience horrible.
I don't get if she's so freaked out why the fuck isn't she wearing a seatbelt?

Because one wrong mistake while driving can cost you hundreds of dollars at the very least or death at the worst. Needless to say, I don't like driving.
When my dad first took me driving he just laughed as I almost killed a person and then proceeded to laugh at me while I drove around in a parking lot freaking out about every slightest thing
damn you, Dad
What is the legal driving age to drive solo in the US? In Australia it's 18 to have a provisional license and you have to be on your provisional license for 4 years before getting your full driving license.
This kid looks like he should be in primary school.
Like holy fuck he can't even see over the steering wheel.
