DSP has an excuse this time: KI's terrible desyncing issues

So basically, the game gets so split between the two players that they're basically playing two completely different games despite being connected to one another.

The same inputs are broadcasted to each player, but the spacing gets horribly desycned between players, causing two completely different games to be played. Since DSP ends up winning his session first and it isn't in sync, the other guy sees it as a disconnect.
