So, how does it end?
It's obvious this guy had little experience skiing, I don't understand how he thought using a parachute and snowplowing straight down the thing was a good idea instead of traversing or using the techniques some french guys had been creating around the same time. He seemed to have no idea how to self-arrest either, it's a miracle he didn't die. It's mostly ice, it's really difficult to stop on ice, hence the parachute. What decade is this from? Seems like it couldn't be from any earlier than maybe the early 80s or at least 70s. Cool idea, not-so-cool execution I suppose.
