well this is...new.
I'll be interested to see how this works out. Hell, these guys look younger than me.
That Duncan guy had the strangest mix of confidence and anxiety that I have ever seen.
Half Life 3 confirmed to be developed by kids

Why is the site so godawful?

But if you're out of high school and onto college then you can piss off, no leg up in the industry for you.

HTML not even valid.
-2/10 would never employ.
Too bad I don't live in Washington, I'd love to try this but I'm probably too old now. :/
Well this is... something
This is actually pretty cool if you want my opinion.
Hopefully they will cover TF2 related stuff seeing as I would like to be a contributor for it, along with everything else which seems pretty useful.
if only valve had an office here in kentucky...

I might actually start working on graphic design more if there was.

it looks like one of those "hybrid" design webpages that work identically both on mobiles and desktops except they look butt ugly on desktops
i don't know how to feel about this
especially when i have friends who are in their 20s and 30s who are accomplished developers and artists who have wanted to work for valve
I bet 9/10 of the programmers in FP's programmer section are better than these guys

Yea, its made using very simple website design techniques.
Why are there no modelers or mappers on their team?

And?
Guys, they just started this and they said over and over the point was to see how well they could adapt to the structure and demand of the industry.
They'll hopefully get better... as they said... they're taking suggestions and discussions on their forum.
Where was I when they picked these chumps?!

On Facepunch.
Too bad that I live basically on the other side of the planet.

They didn't join yet? This has just begun. They can't hire kids for every section in the beginning.

We have angered the gods
On the topic of the actual video, it's a neat experiment. Sure they don't have much to it now, but it'll grow pretty quick. Even though the Pipeline team's goal is to "teach others how to get into the gaming industry", I think the concept of Pipeline will do that as well, given that the teens adapt fast to the big developer business.

I see we have some Adventure Time fans.

Is this the site they were talking about? It looks pretty bad to be honest.
I mean, it sounds kinda cool but at the same time I have no idea what's going on.
Would really help if the website, and even the video was more than "We're going to give people information on how to get into the videogame industry."
