trailer for us brits shows off a bit too much at 4 mins long.
Negan or bust.
I'm not sure if I'm into a power struggle between rick and Morgan, but at least they're making Morgan a better character than in the comics. Honestly though, it feels weird to be much more interested in Fear the Walking Dead than The Walking Dead.
The plot needs to fucking advance. It's needs to move foward. It needs a hook, a goal, something. Every season has been "we're in a shitty situation let's try to make community happen at this one spot." Jesus fucking christ this show needs to GO somewhere. Make the president the evil man who created the zombies, let everyone find out there a huge bomb that'll kill the zombies and they have to go find it, something. Anything. Direction.
So am i the only one that got tired of zombies 4+ years ago? :v:

The goal of survival, to reach a point where life isn't just about surviving and they get to just live. So yes, they naturally keep trying to get to a place to call home without having to abandon it, a place to fight for. Here let me tell you what's going to happen next if you're curious to know how the plot "advances" (dont read if you care about spoilers)[sp]The place they're at now, they never leave. They build outward, meeting new communities, people, some good and some bad. They fight off the odds and never lose their home, they finally reach a somewhat minor form of civilization out of what they've created, communities interacting, trading for goods and services, the zombies are just white noise at this point they've got them under control. All of the conflict, all of the drama, is from people interacting.[/sp]

If you've the read the comics then you'll know it's gonna get good, but if you haven't I recommend reading them if you have the free time. They are a great way to really know where the show gets its inspiration. If you just want to watch the show and not read the comics, then just know the show will improve if they follow the comics this season.
Anyways I'm looking forward to seeing the events of issues 79-84 being translated into the show with whatever changes they add in, [t]http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20121106152340/walkingdead/images/a/a7/Walkingdead.jpg[/t]
Season 6? Shit, I haven't even finished 4 yet.
Season 6? Shit, I haven't even finished 4 yet.
the latter parts of season 4 and all of season 5 are amazing, watch them
the latter parts of season 4 and all of season 5 are amazing, watch them
[sp]I know Hershel dies in 4 that's why I haven't continued forth.[/sp] It's a tough pill to swallow man, I love that character.
What the fuck, they did the "trailer builds up to a final, quiet, intense part at the end" thing like three times, I kept thinking it would end then it faded into something else.
Daryl is so unstoppable at this point that even trailers cannot imply that he is in danger, and instead must show a quick montage at the end that reassures fans that he will always be completely fine

"do you have any idea who you're talking to" ricks back baby
That sounds terribly boring. Who wrote this shit?
I don't find it that boring, considering every other movie or show made about some sort of apocalypse follows the reason rather than the inner-workings of the characters. I know a lot of people like to bitch about this show because it's still going, but I never got tired of it. Why? Because it's a fresh take compared to everything else out there today. If this was just "Rick was a cop, that's all you need to know, now watch him kill zombies," then I wouldn't be half as interested... but it's not, it's "[sp]Rick was a cop, then his mind distorted between his best friend turning against him, having to kill him, his wife dying, his son growing up in this world, the choices he makes always having some sort of bad outcomes no matter what, his slowly degrading humanity, etc. etc.[/sp]" Character development is so much more interesting. If some people think barely any development has happened with these characters in the 5 seasons so far, they're not paying attention to the subtle stuff. I'm completely happy with the direction this show has been going. [editline]11th July 2015[/editline]
"do you have any idea who you're talking to" ricks back baby
Rick was back [sp]the second he ripped that guy's fuckin' throat out[/sp], baby!

Rick even points out in the comic that the HUMANS are the walking dead like it's some kind of big reveal. It's just so thoroughly stagnant and depressing, IMO. That's why I got tired of it midway through season 2 of the game.

Character development is of course important to a story, but when you're so focused on character development that the overarching plot literally goes NOWHERE, I find that there's a problem and it becomes uninteresting.
I'm still getting used to Rick with no beard.
Oh i missed this thread The ending of season 5 was so awesome, felt like everything since season 1 came full circle. Really looking forward to season 6, just hoping real hard for Negan. [editline]13th July 2015[/editline] Part of the second season was terrible because the budget got cut, it's been great since then. Also all the cast who I disliked in the beginning are all now dead, so that's a plus. It can be a bit slow at times but so was Breaking Bad, one of the best shows of all time. If you want something with loads of action all the time it's not gonna be the Walking Dead. You invest in the characters and the story, the payoffs are worth the wait.
To me, Walking Dead is way to overrated and over-hyped. It was awesome in season 1, then it got gradually less thrilling while becoming too popular.
TWD, the show everyone hates, but watches anyway.
is this a joke post?
Just because you disagree with it?
Just because you disagree with it?
The creators themselves have told us the underlying vision of the story. Whatever caused the infection etc. is not the point, its main focus is about character development. Anyone who's up to date with the show and is typing about it on the internet should know by now that they aren't going down that road. So yeah, the post is pretty dumb. [editline]d[/editline] Like have none of you caught on yet at this point that the walkers are just circumstance?
Didn't Glenn die? I haven't watched since season 1 and I don't care about spoilers.
