He lived, he's being treated for serious injuries at the momment. But was in critical condition for a day or two.
Gotta love those unsecured 6x9's on the rear-dash that probably smacked him in the back of the head when he crashed.
I can feel the schadenfreude flowing through me as I watch this.
He already had 5 traffic violations and had been in 3 car crashes this year, not even including this one.
How the fuck did he still have a license / how the fuck was he not in jail?
Hard to feel sympathy for him, he could've easily harmed others with his erratic driving.
it's not quite as exciting as doing 115mph through traffic one-handed, but one thing I've noticed a lot lately is that 95% of the times I see facebook notify me someone's livestreaming, it's someone with their phone on their dashboard, actively reading and responding to comments in the FB chat feed while they're 'bored on the highway'. Still waiting for the lovely combination of a stream notification followed by photos of a fender bender 15 minutes later

He didn't, in the video they say his license was suspended
Why must people with suicidal tendencies try to endanger others...
And honestly, not having a license would not have prevented this. Jail time might have hammered it into his head that he cant even safely operate a Civic.
The engine is constantly above 5000rpm, but I still cant hear it over the music.

That's because it's a stock civic and probably automatic too
why does the video cut out before the time of crash?
why does the video cut out before the time of crash?
The video is buffered in the phone and sent with a delay. The battery likely fell out of the phone during crash due to dynamic forces, so the buffer that was still up for being sent to the network just vanished.
Good. Too stupid to learn the easy way then there's always the hard way involving serious bodily harm, physical rehab and crippling debt.
Probably would be better if he would get paralyzed or something equally bad after this crash.
He's a danger to everyone with that behavior.

Probably the noise cancelling on the phone working as intended.
But lol at automatic civics with their CVT transmission.
Green rims, what the fuck.
Its frustrating that no matter how safe of a driver you are, theres always a chance you can get get killed by some fuckhead like this
I used to live off of the exit at 2:20. Realizing this as I was watching this guy speed along was a weird experience.

This is why self-driving cars are necessary.

Then again there's that ethical question about what the car should do when choosing who's life to save, the drivers or the people outside.

All civics drive above 60 at pretty high RPM. Even my '94 coupe does between ~3000-4000 at 60 mph.

This site is far from perfect (EG: making assumptions about whether you value men/women or fit/fat or wealthy/poor or old/young more due to coincidental outcomes and a lack of diverse scenarios)
They should strip his driving privilege for life
They should strip his driving privilege for life
That won't stop him considering his licsnse was already suspended. With any luck his injuries will make it physically impossible for him to operate a car because that seems the only way you can stop someone this outright retarded.
he must have done something really fucking good to balance his karma, lucky guy to survive that shit
Holy fuck who the hell did he think he was going to fool with the shoulder belt behind him?
Would love to see a hospital report, probably fucked his lumbar up pretty good.
i know people who drive like this

Hes going to be charged when he recovers from the accident, with him streaming his stupid stunt on FB and his history its going to be hard to get out of :v:

3000-4000 isn't high when the redline is at 8k.
Source: my 08 civic si
and at 60mph that car is at like 3.5k in 5th gear and 2.5k in 6th.
then again yours is a 94 so I don't know why I'm comparing 2 very different civic gens
At least it's as open and shut as possible because the fucking idiot was stupid enough to video tape the whole thing.
