Playing through the PC version of Dead Rising 3 and I just had to share this. Holy shit.

Classic dead rising boss right there.

meh. felt like they were trying too hard with a lot of them. the humor here feels way off-base with the tone of the original. you've got this obese woman farting and stuffing her face and you've got a guy in BDSM get-up with a cock flamethrower elsewhere in the game. the bosses in the original game seemed more serious most of the time. stuff like the clown was meant to be creepy, even the "THIS IS MY STOOOOORE!" guy, which is this fight's closest analogue. the humor came from the juxtaposition of the setting and theme of the game and the stupid shit you could do in it.

Now that I think about it, you're right. The tone is different. I guess they just tried to make it a bit more wacky since the aesthetic totally changed. Needed to make up for the lack of color in the game I think.
Also I'm looking forward to the BDSM dude now.
I love the burgers just popping out of existence when they hit her mouth.

and how the blood just appears out of nowhere around the Red Shirt yet there aren't any visible wounds from being stabbed
That's pretty fucking terrible imho

that's pretty much how it'd work in real life

first game was way better because it didn't try so hard to be funny

...like in almost any other videogame in existence?
Rarely they really care about having alternative skins or work with decals and overlays for cutscenes if it's not that important.
What the fuck? This is pretty disgusting. I didn't think dead rising was one of those satire games to include this form of humour.
It is supposed to be disgusting like the fat cop who raped women and she was crazy but the sounds are over the top. All the farts and vomits . TheHydra is kinda right ya know..
on a side note, i fucking love the soundtracks in deadrising. Celldweller is the shit.

The track for the body builder boss is my favourite for Dead Rising 3 so far.

On a good way of course

Or the hunters? The kids and their dad? I felt genuine upset that I had to kill the son who was regretful about killing the zombies.
I wish they had a demo for this on the pc, so I could try it and see if my pc can run it

Apperently A friend and me bought this game while me running the latest hardware and him being somewhat older hardware and we both crash on startup this game is a mess for 50% of people crash on start up apperently hold up with buying this. There is a memory leak in intro vid. Very sad if they wont fix this on launch with patch.
theres a patch on steam now, 43mb not sure what it does

I've got it and got to play it for about an hour
Problem is that my PC's kinda dated so it doesn't run very good. It's still pretty fun, though, luckily it's easy to fuck with that config ini so I'll mess with it when I'm back from work.

Not a patch, it's some extra digital content

He sure as shit didn't give 2 fucks about shooting you though.

apparently for some people putting a shortcut to the game in the C: drive fixes the crashing, not launching, and fps. it is very bizarre
isnt there a GGD thread about dead rising 3?
One of the better bosses in the game. Quite liked the surgeon too. Fun enough game but too many 'added sex puns at the last minute' type gags. Easily overlook though.
the save system is really annoying, it lets you save in safe houses but you can only reload checkpoints and chapters.
I have a discovered a "fix" for those who have problems with CTD's.
Download and install the latest Nvidia driver or AMD, that should help remarkably as it did for me.
Here's Mr. Flamethrower Cock for those curious.
