Just love the statistics: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1289401/ratings?ref_=tt_ov_rt
Kinda surprised the critics likes it so much.
Guess Sony was giving out a nice sum of american presidents for a positive review.
Was it only me who thought for a second it was James Rolf review based on the name of the title?
Just love the statistics: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1289401/ratings?ref_=tt_ov_rt
how conflicted are those with two genders
Kinda surprised the critics likes it so much.
Its probably a combination of bribery and a lot of modern "journalists" feeling like they need to support it just because wymyn. We saw this happen in video games, garbage games got good reviews because a female developer would claim everyone who didnt like their game was sexist.
Guess Sony was giving out a nice sum of american presidents for a positive review.
That but i can guess that some critics feel obliged to make a positive review because of the whole "This movie is made entirely by females" thing they have been boosting. Not trying to pinpoint it just for that but the two positive reviews were both written by females and were here and there praising that "woman can do their own thing and they don't need no men"
Does anybody know how well this movie is doing so far at Box office? Because if it does well despite the awful "Critics are sexist pigs" narrative being thrown around, then you're going to see these cheap tactics being used a lot more frequently in the future.

I haven't seen anything about how it's doing in the UK, so that probably means it's doing poorly.
Exactly like how I pictured it. Audiences are either hating this movie or finding it mediocre. Kinda surprised the critics likes it so much.
Because if you say anything negative about it, internet mobs will rally and brand you a misogynist shitlord and phone your workplace to get you fired.
Because if you say anything negative about it, internet mobs will rally and brand you a misogynist shitlord and phone your workplace to get you fired.
But what if you're an overweight, nerdy, transgender lesbian black woman? Would their heads just explode?
Man all this ghostbuster talk makes me want to watch the old films....but I cant cause those films were scary as hell.
Man all this ghostbuster talk makes me want to watch the old films....but I cant cause those films were scary as hell.
Scary? Whats so scary?
Scary? Whats so scary?
ghost blowjobs are horrifying experiences
But what if you're an overweight, nerdy, transgender lesbian black woman? Would their heads just explode?
then they wont care or acknowledge it. theres been some female youtubers saying they dont like the movie/arent going to see it, but no one cares about that.
how conflicted are those with two genders
The gender discrepancy is fucking fascinating.
Scary? Whats so scary?
The bathtub scene in ghostbusters II gave me nightmares because I saw it when I was like 5. Also the severed heads in the tunnel and the ghost train actually creepy actually fucking Ghostbusters II was nightmare fuel
I enjoyed Ghostbusters 2 and probably remember more of that movie than the first, i mean from when i was a kid anyway, though i love both the originals not sure if i want to go watch the new one
The bathtub scene in ghostbusters II gave me nightmares because I saw it when I was like 5. [editline]July 16, 2016[/editline] Really out of all the ridiculous build up plus the delivery and the franchise's overall status as a comedy, remove all of that and you start to see some sinister shit.
Oh yeah i remember some parts that were disturbing now. The only thing that really stayed with me was that i was so fucking scared of this painting. Out of all the special effects of ghosts and stuff this thing was the scariest for me :v:
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=similar&&view=&id=ghostbusters2016.htm&sort=opengross&order=DESC&p=.htm It's most likely going to flop really hard, they need a $500m gross to make it profitable, according to the director.

Considering its budget is 'only' 144 million, and even taking marketing into account, that's a rather obscene number.
Um, source on that? Considering its budget is 'only' 144 million, and even taking marketing into account, that's a rather obscene number.
Marketing, distribution, cinema cuts, etc etc. I can believe that number.
Um, source on that? Considering its budget is 'only' 144 million, and even taking marketing into account, that's a rather obscene number.
144$ million is an obscene budget, when you add local and international marketing plus remove the cut from the cinemas themselfes 500 million doesn't sound too out there.
As opening day approaches, Feig can’t help but think about the stakes of making a $150 million movie. “A movie like this has to at least get to like $500 million worldwide, and that’s probably low,” he says. “But the thing I care about most is the industry looking for an excuse to say, ‘See, a tentpole can’t be carried by female leads’ ” — three of whom are over 40. “I cashed in all my chips,” he says. “I had to use every chip to make this happen. And if this doesn’t work, I will probably have to go back to movie jail.”
http://www.vulture.com/2016/07/paul-feig-ghostbusters-reboot-c-v-r.html But I doubt revenue will meet match 100 millions.
I just don't know if I can take a review of a comedy series seriously from Angry Joe. He's just so damn unfunny. I have a feeling the movie will be mediocre at best when I see but I do think there is ALOT of bias against this movie. That even if it did end up being good people would still shit on it.

The "misogynistic hate" against this movie is just a story cooked up to scare reviewers into praising it, and to sell tickets. Sony's using dirty tactics to sell their shitty movie, that's all there is to it.

I'm glad that Rick Moranis didn't want to do anything with this; avoiding legal action and not having to stare down a very irritated manchild of a director are just the few yet lifechanging wonders of his retirement.
Just love the statistics: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1289401/ratings?ref_=tt_ov_rt
its crazy when you compare it to the original [t]http://i.imgur.com/WjJXTq5.png[/t] vs [t]http://i.imgur.com/h64g0gy.png[/t]
