It does show how pointless it all is though. Sit in a base for 6 months with the responsibility for the couple of miles you can see around the base in all directions, occasionally do a patrol to feel useful, then bomb the fuck out of everything around you destroying entire villages so you don't get over run.

I kind of wish the episodes could go on longer. It's really interesting seeing what the forces get up to when they are at base or on patrol. Seeing how they deal with losses, and hearing their experiences. It just doesn't seem to fit too well in the time slot it has right now.
Rated winner since it kinda feels like it needs to be summed up by multiple ratings, but we can't do that.
