I solved a rubix cube one handed once, it took me so long everyone got bored and stopped paying attention.
And it really fucking hurt my wrist, didn't help that my cube wasn't properly lubed up so it was grindy as shit

I have a hard time just thinking about how those hexagonal cubes actually work!
one handed is pretty boring tbh, just puts a lot of strain on your fingers

the megaminx works and solves similarly to a regular rubiks cube

in fact most puzzles can be solved in a way that derives from fridrichs method, excluding a few

as bumrang said, the solve is almost exactly the same as a standard rubik's cube, but to add to that the internals are also the same concept applied to a different shape (a dodecahedron)

basically the center piece of each face is screwed into a plastic core (the picture is of the core), and the edge and corner pieces just hook under the centers

it's not v impressive once you understand that it's entirely down to pattern recognition and muscle memory, although there's plenty of more difficult puzzles in the same vein as the rubik's cube that do still impress me

once you understand how to solve it it's not very impressive, but its a neat party trick to solve one in <45 sec.

It's interesting how out of all the weird little gimmick toys that have been made over the years, Rubik's Cubes still hold strong above all the others.
When he's doing them with one hand it reminds of some Naruto ninjitsu bullshit or something
