Video is on the site.
It is fishy as all hell when only 1 site gets a review copy...specially when that site is IGN. We'll see how it goes, but i am a bit more hyped!
Updated the post with the written review link, it also has a video on the front as well.
i didn't know zach braff worked for ign
15 hour story holy fuck
more games need to be that long
I love all the fun distractions that were shown like the carnival-game-esque shooting gallery.

Besides, nothing related to gaming journalism makes sense anymore.
you're pretty dumb
You're pretty wrong.
A hyperbole of "take X with a grain of salt" would be to take it with EVEN LESS than a grain of salt.
Saying to take something as a mountain of salt is the exact opposite as taking something as a grain of salt.
To take something as a mountain of salt would be to EXAGGERATE their claims, not understate it.
Linking to a wikipedia page doesn't make you right- but nice try.

you're still completely incorrect
to take something with a "grain of salt" means that you shouldn't believe it 100%, due to having an untrustworthy source
considering this is IGN we're talking about, he said "mountain of salt", because IGN tends to be incredibly untrustworthy
i don't know what you're not understanding here

also, it's WITH, not AS
you're not taking it as a grain of salt, you're taking it with

What aren't you understanding?
okay how about this
salt = skepticism
more salt = more skepticism
therefore,
mountain of salt = mountain of skepticism
jesus christ

Argue semantics if you must, my point's valid.
no it isn't
Okay then. You win. I suppose I didn't understand the original meaning of the idiom.
I'm glad this was all relevant to the thread.
I was worried when he said it looked horrible on console, but then I realized he was playing on PS3. Didn't look too bad. Can't wait.

This is still the best example on why IGN scoring is fucked.

If you don't go off the score, he generally liked it.
Supposedly other review website will get theirs Monday.

Yeah I'm waiting for what Adam Sessler has to say. He was pretty pissed that 2k did a deal with IGN so they could get an earlier review
I only trust the best gamers now

But everything he said made me want to pay money for it

And this is why number score systems for games don't work.
15 hour story holy fuck

I disagree.
Sometimes longer is NOT better. Some games would be abysmally boring or terrible if they were stretched out. There has to be a good balance of length and brevity when making a game or else your players will get bored.

Different reviewers, different audience.

it's sad that 15 hours is considered long now

Except they're completely different games with absolutely different audiences?
It looks gorgeous.
