He answered that in the comments - it didn't fit into the flow of the video, which it didn't.
I'd call it an Edison approach.

I think that's fair enough in one of the most insanely awesome years for space travel technology in over a decade.
People don't realize how important these technological advances are, and they think it's all a waste of money.
