This was hilarious, but on a semi-related note I'm kinda sore about SXSW. I was supposed to go with a few friends and stay at this house, but I never got the house address and as far as communication goes it's like they cut me off or something :V oh well, always next year.

I fucking hate SXSW, I have to avoid Austin every time spring break rolls around because a ton of people from all over the world, and a good amount of local hipsters like to get smashed and do stupid shit.

I used to laugh at this kind of stuff but now it just makes me sad to think that people go out and act this way, both the idiots getting into fights and the crowd themselves. Is being civil to each other really that difficult?

They aren't mutually exclusive, you're right in that it's a minority acting this way, the crowd of whooping, hollering morons is what bothers me. It shouldn't because there's nothing I can do about it, I'd just like to think that people should act with a bit more decorum. Getting drunk and acting like an idiot is great fun, I just don't understand the mindset of the people in the video.

Some people have serious fucking issues. It's quite common too, people that I know and like, are perfectly fine when sober, but under the influence of enough alcohol, they turn into bizarre macho idiots

There are people like this at the bar all the time I get so sick of it, luckily most of the time the bartenders diffuse the situation because the bar I go to is pretty small and when a fight breaks out you are getting hit, drunk people just start swinging at anything.

it's a music industry festival mostly showcasing new media and new media technology
