Although too many pranks are very stupid or just not funny, I still think the people being pranked often tend to completely overreact. Most of the time they deserve it, but you shouldn't just attack everyone who merely says something weird to you.

Like, I agree with you that some of these people take the "joke" out of hand, but you dont really want to be playing pranks on the wrong people.
