• Alone in the Zone - New Chernobyl material like you've never seen before

I have no idea if this has been posted before (video submission date was last december), but this seems like a must have for anyone who is interested in this remarkable incident. I'll risk the late ratings. Seeing the town of Pripyat during night seems really interesting. This is no ordinary journey.
Since the catastrophe many films have been made about Chernobyl. Some look reason and to place blame for the tragedy. Others show the course of the tragedy and its effects. This film will be different
Film site: http://www.podniesinski.pl/portal/?page_id=3491 Unfortunately this film will NEVER be available online (well not legally):
The film will be distributed in a limited edition, 500 copies in a DVD version and 100 copies especially for fans in a Full HD version (on DVD or Blue Ray disks). After the printing is sold out, sales will end and it will no longer be possible to buy the film. The film will also not appear on the internet.
You might want to consider buying this. Here's more info from the site
The film could also be valuable for people who can’t go to the zone because they are underage, don’t have time or money or for those who just lack the courage :). Or for fans of Call of Duty or STALKER whose, as one viewer very accurately summed up, entire knowledge of Chernobyl is based on these games. And so in buying this film, you are also buying a ticket to the exclusion zone. And you will learn something more than you would from a game. You will feel as if you were there yourself… Here I would like to thank all of the people who directly or indirectly helped to make this film happen. Most of them did it for free. However, in order for the film to see the light of day, some essential expenses were necessary. In order to cover them, there has to be a charge for the film. If more people than I anticipate buy it, then the whole profit from the film will be given to help the poorest residents of the zone (re-settlers). The whole project as a rule is meant to be non-commercial.
Any S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fanboy's wet dream.
Goddam, i want this. But I don't want to spend 50$ on it.
I need this.
it'd be funny if someone appeared out of no where while he was filming and reapeatedly said, get out of here STALKER
This seems pretty awesome, but €30 is quite a lot...
I'm so interested in this.

Man, I wish I had the money for this.
it'd be funny if someone appeared out of now where while he was fliming and reapeatedly said, get out of here STALKER
I said come in, dont stand there!
He went to Pripyat in the night? That must be pretty damn creepy
I would buy this if it wasn't for the damn fisheye lens he used.
The movie looks really cool and interesting, but it's too expensive. [editline]29th April 2011[/editline]
I would buy this if it wasn't for the damn fisheye lens he used.
That too.
yay capitalizing off of a historic tragedy
How the hell did they manage to get on top of the Wood Pecker, and inside of reactor 5, and inside all parts of the plant? Aren't those areas completely restricted?
This guy has so much to discover, it's amazing. It takes balls to go onto those old irradiated and falling apart buildings though.
How the hell did they manage to get on top of the Wood Pecker, and inside of reactor 5, and inside all parts of the plant?
I'm not scholar'd on this at all, but who in their right mind would volunteer for guard duty at somewhere like Chernobyl? That's my thought.
I heard that they had tons of guides and guards around the area.
If I would ever go to the zone I would walk around and tell other random people:
Wow did they really walk onto the roof of the NPP? Someones going to have cancer.
Wow did they really walk onto the roof of the NPP? Someones going to have cancer.
It's not that bad. Only if you had a picnic there you'd have cancer.
I don't know about the others, but people have been using the Duga-3 Array as a radio antenna for years.
God damn it. I wanted to be the first one there to play with it... Well at least I have other cool Chernobyl dreams.
I expect the reason why there's only slightly over 500 copies being made is because there's a Bloodsucker sex scene.
Bought it, Can't wait to watch.
I've never heard of the Woodpecker being called the Moscow Eye before...
First person to get inside the Pripyat hotel and play STALKER will be a god.
This looks, interesting......
Isn't this guy like getting deadly radiation just by standing near the reactor
