"Each of your 6 squad mates has 3 active and 2 passive skills" Wait hold the fuck up, only 6 squad mates ? That seems very low compared to other recent Bioware games, I really hope they are hiding some due to spoilers

Just going off the thumbnail this cast does not look as interesting as the last
Same as Mass Effect 1 which I thought was fine.
Scaling it back down to six when one of the most prominent strengths of the series has been the banter and personality of your squadmates seems a bit counterproductive. Especially when two of the squadmates are human who have a tendency to be cardboard in this series.
pee bee
jesus christ look at that face on cora, did too many years in space make all humans look like turds or something?
these names are the dumbest

ME3 scaled it down to 6 (7 with Javik) and it had the best banter in the series by a long shot. That being said, Inquisition had 9 party members and the banter in that was solid as well.
Giving the player total freedom to use literally any abilities they like seems like a mistake, it feels like handing us a bunch of mechanics and saying "hey, make something good out of it, it's not like I'm a game designer or something". Restriction is very important to making a good game, it's important that I can't be a perfect combatant if you want to make the gameplay interesting.
jesus christ look at that face on cora, did too many years in space make all humans look like turds or something?
Bioware has proven a few times they don't quite understand what a people looks like, especially women.

What a good way to show off taking down that Fiend eh, by using Fire, against Armour, like why not just go one better and use Biotics like Pull, that'll do the trick. Also another gif for another video, woo! Charge, hit, stand still.
i am amazed by the fact that people are willing to pay 60$ for this.
i am amazed by the fact that people are willing to pay 60$ for this.
I find it amazing that you've been on the internet for over a decade and are still baffled by people having different standards and interests.

This looks like what I was hoping Mass Effect 1 would be back in the pre-release hype. Probably not going to get it until the price drops, however.
Uhhh... Fire has always been good vs. armor in the Mass Effect series.
Fire is good against armor in a lot of RPGs. Take Witcher 3 for example, with Igni having an "armor melt" trait.
Not sure how much I like the "Anyone can do anything at any time." approach. Weren't you supposed to have some innate talent with biotics to even be capable of using them in the last games? I remember the Asari all being capable of them was unique to them.
i am amazed by the fact that people are willing to pay 60$ for this.
Please close the door from the outside, I know you're just passing by but it's still winter around here.
i am amazed by the fact that people are willing to pay 60$ for this.
I don't like thing and everyone that does like thing is an idiot
i am amazed by the fact that people are willing to pay 60$ for this.
are u gonna bitch in every mass effect andromeda thread
are u gonna bitch in every mass effect andromeda thread
am i not allowed to voice my disappointment with what ive seen so far? why is it alright to voice ones excitement? i genuinely dont think andromeda looks exciting whatsoever. theres not a single part of me that looks forward to it and i actually want andromeda to be good. i love the mass effect setting (well, plus-minus some parts due to me3). its a great setting for sci-fi adventures. but andromeda has nothing. theres nothing about it that really stands out as special or worthwhile.
i am amazed by the fact that people are willing to pay 60$ for this.
Who pays $60 for PC games? You can pretty much always get them for $50 brand new now if you look in places other than Steam Unless you're Australian. Sorry. I'm guessing the multiplayer is going to be a lot like Dragon Age Inquisition's, except with Mass Effect. Which sounds fucking awesome.

I can't rlly trust bioware in making interesting big open spaces after how much they screwed up with dragon age inquisition.
so what has happened to the rpg elements?
so what has happened to the rpg elements?
??? The mechanics are probably the most RPG-like they've been since 1?

My favorite part of the series has always been the settings so I'm excited to see the next video on exploration as that was a cool but very flawed part of the first game.
so what has happened to the rpg elements?
What rpg elements? Mass Effect has always been a shooter with special powers and squad mechanics. This has all of that.
